Known for its pre-planned condos, with winding sidewalks through manicured lawns overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Seabluffe is one of the few places left in Southern California with private beach access. The community also has a pool, clubhouse, jacuzzi, gym, tennis courts, and a private, gated, guarded entry.
This area, once known for charming cottages overflowing with surfers, has tilted towards elite status in the last 20 years, with grandiose oceanfront estates (and a few cottages), many sporting their own beach access. Some of the more humble street appearances can give way inside and oceanside to resort-like emotion that encourages one to stay, eat, relax, surf, sleep, repeat.
Numerous little streets pepper this area, with tiny homes, remodels, and new live/work/loft developments. Leucadia also offers numerous businesses within walking distance, like salons, surf shops, cafes, and many of North County's most popular, innovative, and stylish restaurants.
Stone Steps to Moonlight
Where Chaplin lived, large estates are mixed with cottages and streets criss cross in (sometimes) unpredictable ways, on a bluff similar to Solana Beach. Towards the South End, some apartment buildings, a car dealer, and some hotels and motels break up the residential vibe, as the community reaches the vastness of Moonlight Beach.
